Year 3 build reading dens

This morning we explored reading in the outdoors by building our own reading dens with the help of Mrs Butcher (our forest school leader). The children worked in teams to find suitable ground and then created their den with the use of string, tarpaulin, ground sheets and tent pegs. They had so much fun building their dens but even more fun reading in them with juice and biscuits.
